Hello all, yes it has been some time since I have posted. Well, it turns out I'm no blogger in any way lol lol. Due to this, I owe you all some updates. And they are all life-changing events. The first big one is that my wife and I are divorcing. It's no one's fault, we are just two entirely different people who are totally incompatible. We are amicable. The second biggest thing is my son is now 13 and will be 14 on Feb 6. He is as tall as me and will soon be taller. Kenny has gotten into the gym, working out 3 times a week. Which has made him as strong as an OX. And Kenny takes great pleasure in showing me just how strong he is lol lol. Another change is Kenny is now in a new school and loving it. He has loads of friends and may join the football team. He is so much happier.

During all this turmoil I got into Amateur Radio and got my Technicians license in 2019. Then I joined 2 amateur radio clubs. One club is digital and one club is analog. Along with my family, amateur radio helped to get me threw COVID-19. After 3 years of being a technician, I recently got my General License. This means that I now have HF privileges. Which means I can talk to people all over the world. No Kenny has no interest in it. But we will see. I am working on him lol lol. The best thing about this is it has given me something to occupy my time when Kenny isn't with me. That kid is the light. I love him so much.

I will try and post a bit more often. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Time sure does fly

Hi all, been a very long time huh. Since I have pretty much just abandoned you all I thought I would post an update to what has been happening.
Well my son is now 5 and 1/2. He is now attending what I think is one of the best private school in Philadelphia. I'm so excited about it. Kenny as also been doing basketball. And he has learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. I have to tell you the bike story. Well Kenny's uncle, my brother-in-law bought Kenny this cool bike for Christmas with training wheels. Man Kenny rode that bike every day. Rain or shine. Well the time came for me to take the training wheels off. He didn't like that much. And he wasn't ready to not have training wheels. The bike got pretty beat up and so I tried to get a few repairs done. Turned out that the repairs were more then what the bike was worth. So Kenny's NANA bought him a Trek 20.  I tried to help Kenny learn to ride but he was a bit scared. My wife bout him a Razor scooter. He rode that thing all over the place. We even brought the razor to Stone Harbor with us. Where he again rode it everywhere. When we got back home I asked if he was ready to try and ride his bike. He said no not really. A week after that he says "Dad, I want to learn how to ride my bike. And if I fall, I fall." I said ok. We got back home from doing something and Kenny says "Show Time." l look at him and laughed. We get the bike out, I show him how to mount the bike and push off using his peddle. He fell once, got up did 2 more failed attempts, then was off, riding. The look on his face was priceless. Not to mention how proud he made me and how proud he was when I said that I was so proud of him. He is just an awesome kid. It only took him 3 attempts to be able to ride his bike. Man that kid is awesome. That was 3 weeks ago. And he rides almost everyday. Now he is learning to skateboard too. Jen is not very happy about that. Hell I'm not either. But my son is all boy, so I am actually ok with it. Love you Kenny Man.

Wow the top part of this blog was 3 years ago as my son is now eight. There is a lot of catching up I have to give you.
Kenny got into karate, but wasn't into it, so he stopped. I'm happy to say kenny has kept up with his skateboarding and can do all kinds of tricks. He can do a ollie, which his making the skateboard jump. Kenny is also into Parkour. He has even taken a Parkour calls and loves to go to a parkour gym we found. My son has all the energy. If i could tap into that and see it, I would make millions. I am also happy tpo report that kenny is doing well in school.

I almost for got to mention. kenny is in a Five Below ad.
Kennyman is the man.

Hey All, So I need to apologize as I have in no way kept my promise of adding to my blog every Sunday. yes i'm a lazy tired dad. I'm hoping this post will make up for it.

Today is the second day my wife and i are keeping our son KennyMan home. He has a fever. He is the happiest sick kid I have ever seen. Right now we are in our kitchen and he his playing with his lego's as i am typing this blog. Kenny actually got upset when we told him he wasn't going to school. I would have to say Jen and I definitely picked the right school. What kid doesn't want to stay home from school......KennyMan. Everyday I see more and more of this little person's personality becoming bigger than life. Man is it awesome to watch...........sometimes.  Here is one of the times it's awesome.
One day Jen was being rude to me and got me mad. I was taking Kenny to skateboarding lessons and he was being a lively little kenny, and as I was already upset I wasn't handling kenny very well. Kenny noticed I was up set and asked me why. So i said mommy was being rude to me and got me upset. Kenny says with the most sincere voice, "I'm really sorry you had to go through that". It melted my heart and I was no longer mad. Man, my kid is awesome.
Kenny is now attending The Waldorf School of Philadelphia, and I have to say I couldnt be happier with it. Yes there are a few things I'm not thrilled about, but we are keeping our eye on those things. Kenny's teacher sends out a progress report on the class every week. I'm so happy she will have him for the next eight years. She will know is strengths and weaknesses as well as how to motivate him.

My son is now 5. And he has also gotten into every school we applied to. I am proud to announce that my son will be going to the Waldorf school. My son charmed and dazzled all the schools. How could he not, with all that personality.  He is my son. lol lol lol lol lol. My son had an awesome birthday and his NANA (my wife's mom) is taking him to Disney world. I'm looking forward to it myself.
